Background

Alpesh Kumavat founded T9music in 2010 and continues to run it as the operating brand of Kumavat Digital Private Limited, based in Pachora, Jalgaon district, Maharashtra. The company began by delivering regional Maharashtrian releases to Indian digital stores at a time when independent artists outside Mumbai had almost no route onto a national platform.

Over sixteen years the operation has grown to 2.5 lakh+ songs distributed for 3,500+ record labels, across 150+ global and Indian stores. What he works on daily

Three areas of Indian music distribution take up most of the working week, and all three are the subject of the guides published under this byline:
